About Cashout Wizard

Cashout Wizard is a restaurant tip management and payroll settlement platform. In the restaurant industry, a "cashout" refers to the end-of-shift cash reconciliation process where servers and staff account for their sales, tips, and cash on hand. Cashout Wizard digitizes this process — it has no connection to gambling, betting, sweepstakes, contests, or any gaming activity. SMS messages are used solely for transactional notifications related to employee shift cashouts and payroll.

SMS Opt-In

This is how employees consent to receive text messages

I agree to receive text messages from Cashout Wizard at the phone number provided. Messages may include login links, cashout confirmations, and payout notifications. Message frequency varies (typically 1–5 per week). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. This consent is not required to use Cashout Wizard.

By checking this box, you provide your separate, express written consent to receive SMS messages from Cashout Wizard. This consent is independent of any other agreement. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy for details.

This checkbox appears during employee portal claim, employee profile setup, and when enabling SMS notifications. SMS consent is always collected separately and is never bundled with other terms or agreements.

1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS opt-in checkbox through the Cashout Wizard employee portal, you provide your separate, express written consent to receive text messages from Cashout Wizard. This consent is:

Separate from any other terms, agreements, or conditions of use
Not required as a condition of employment or use of the Service
Revocable at any time by replying STOP or disabling SMS in your settings

Messages you may receive include:

Login verification links
Cashout completion confirmations
Shift and payout notifications
Account security alerts

2. How You Opt In

SMS consent is collected through a standalone checkbox that is separate from all other agreements. The checkbox appears during:

Employee portal claim: When an employee claims their profile and enters their phone number.
Employee profile setup: When a manager adds an employee's phone number with the employee's verbal or written consent.
Settings update: When an employee enables SMS notifications in their profile settings.

The SMS consent checkbox is clearly labeled and is never pre-checked. Employees must take affirmative action to opt in. Consent to receive SMS is not bundled with acceptance of our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or any other agreement.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your cashout activity. Typically 1–5 messages per week during active shifts. You will not receive marketing or promotional messages.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

Replying STOP to any message from Cashout Wizard.
Disabling SMS notifications in your employee profile settings.
Contacting your restaurant manager to remove your phone number.
Emailing support@cashoutwizard.com with your opt-out request.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.

6. Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Cashout Wizard does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Supported Carriers

SMS messages are supported on major Canadian and US carriers including Rogers, Bell, Telus, Freedom Mobile, Koodo, Fido, Virgin Plus, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most regional carriers. Service availability may vary.

8. Data Privacy

Your phone number is stored securely and used only for the purposes described above. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
